Battle of Badr

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرْ… هَذَا نِدَاءُ البَدْرِ يَا إِخْوَانْ
نَمْضِي بِقَلْبٍ ثَابِتٍ… وَاللَّهُ يَهْدِي خُطَانَا

هَذَا يَوْمُ الفُرْقَانْ… نَرْفَعُ فِيهِ الإِيمَانْ
لَا نَخْشَى إِلَّا رَبَّنَا… وَعَلَيْهِ نُلْقِي رَجَاءَنَا



Allah is Greater… this is Badr’s call, O brothers strong,
We march with hearts that never shake… God guides us as we walk along.

This is the Day of Criterion… where truth and falsehood stand apart,
We fear none but the Lord above… His Light is strength within our hearts.



مَعَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الأَمِينْ… وَعُمَرُ قَلْبٌ لا يَلِينْ
وَعَلِيٌّ نُورُ الشَّجَاعَةِ… يَمْضِي بِنَا لِطَرِيقِ اليَقِينْ

وَرَسُولُ اللهِ أَمَامَنَا… نُورٌ يَمْلَأُ هَذَا السَّيْرْ
نَرْفَعُ التَّكْبِيرَ مَعًا… فَاللَّهُ يَرَى وَهُوَ الخَبِيرْ



With us stands Abu Bakr strong… and Umar’s heart that never bends,
And Ali, shining with courage bright… upon God’s path he gently sends.

The Messenger of Allah leads… his light surrounds our marching way,
Together we raise the takbīr loud… for God sees all we do and say.



اللَّهُ أَكْبَرْ… نِصْرُ اللهِ قَرِيبْ
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرْ… قَلْبُ المُؤْمِنِ لا يَغِيبْ



Allah is Greater… His victory is near,
Allah is Greater… No fear remains in a believer’s heart.
